Dakota Wehausen, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with Orthopedics & sports Medicine BayCare Clinic in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Originally from Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Dakota is passionate about delivering exceptional care to the community that raised her. After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, she spent two years working as a Patient Care Technician at DaVita Kidney Care, gaining experience in dialysis and patient support.
Dakota went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, Tennessee. After 2.5 years away, she is excited to return home and serve the people of Two Rivers and Manitowoc. Her journey has come full circle, having once been a patient of Dr. DiRaimondo following a volleyball injury in high school, she now works alongside the same team that cared for her.
Outside of work, Dakota loves traveling, having visited 14 countries outside the U.S., and enjoys live music, camping, snowmobiling, volleyball, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. A fun fact is that she grew up on a hobby farm and has been riding trail horses since the age of four.
