BayCare Clinic Foundation recently announced a new partnership with Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin. Through a $101,570 grant, the foundation is supporting innovative efforts to reduce wait times for mental health care and eliminate barriers for marginalized and vulnerable populations across Greater Green Bay and the Fox Cities.
This initiative will deliver barrier-free counseling services to communities in need—from victims of crime and survivors of sexual assault to youth facing multiple obstacles and individuals challenged by financial or language barriers. Additionally, the project focuses on developing the next generation of behavioral health providers to ensure that future care remains both culturally sensitive and accessible.
Julie Duckett, BayCare Clinic CFO and foundation president, stated, “BayCare Clinic Foundation is deeply committed to supporting innovative programs that enhance access to vital mental health services. By partnering with Family Services, we are not only addressing immediate care needs but also investing in the future workforce that will continue to serve our community with culturally sensitive, evidence-based treatment.”
Tana Koss, VP of Programs & Strategy at Family Services added, “This grant is a game-changer for our community as the project leverages the strengths of our clinical team at Family Services as well as those of our critical partners, like Casa ALBA Melanie Hispanic Resource Center of Greater Green Bay, to extend critical mental health services to those who need them most, all while training tomorrow’s mental health professionals. We are honored to partner with BayCare Clinic Foundation in this essential work.”
BayCare Clinic Foundation is proud to contribute to ensuring that quality mental health care is within reach for everyone.
