BayCare Clinic Foundation Highlights – Advancing Mental Health and Community Impact

feed News and More

The BayCare Clinic Foundation (BCCF) continues to make strides in supporting the health and well-being of our communities. In the first quarter of 2025, we were proud to partner with organizations and individuals working to create meaningful change throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

Major Mental Health Investments
BCCF has made a commitment to support organizations that work to improve mental health in our community. In Q1 2025, BCCF made a donation of $101,570 to Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin to support ongoing efforts to reduce wait times for mental health care and eliminate barriers for marginalized and vulnerable populations across Greater Green Bay and the Fox Cities.

Additionally, $10,000 was donated to The Mandolin Foundation, through Amanda’s House, to help provide housing and essential services to women and children struggling with substance abuse, trauma and homelessness.

Lastly, $6,000 was donated to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Brown County to provide crisis intervention training to law enforcement officers, first responders, and mental health professionals.

Leadership Update
Dr. Armaan Shaikh took on the role of Vice President of BCCF, taking over from long time officer, Dr. Mike Medich.  Dr. Shaikh joins Julie Duckett (President) and Mike Matzke (Treasurer/Secretary) as officers of BCCF.

Board Transitions
We extend heartfelt gratitude to outgoing board members Dr. Alexander Foster, Dr. Joshua Piotrowski, and Dr. Elizabeth O’Connor for their service and commitment.

A warm welcome to Dr. Elizabeth Dickson Michelson, who joins the Board as our newest member!
