Supporting Healing, Resilience, and Education in Our Community

feed News and More

At BayCare Clinic Foundation (BCCF), we believe in removing barriers to care, fostering emotional well-being, and investing in the future of healthcare. We’re proud to share recent initiatives that reflect these values:

$5,000 Awarded to Altrusa Hospitality House

Through our Health & Wellness Fund, BCCF awarded $5,000 to support the Corporate Kindness Collective at Altrusa Hospitality House (AHH) in Green Bay, WI.

AHH provides safe, supportive lodging for patients and families traveling more than 50 miles for vital medical care unavailable in their hometowns. This program reduces financial, emotional, and physical stress by offering affordable lodging, meals, and community support—helping families focus on healing.

Each year, AHH serves nearly 400 families, including veterans, NICU parents, and patients undergoing complex treatments, saving families over $400,000 in hotel costs and providing 2,700 nights of comfort. By keeping loved ones together during treatment, AHH strengthens family unity and promotes recovery.

$5,000 Awarded to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin

Our Mental Health Fund awarded $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin (BBBSNEW) to expand mental health resources within their one-to-one youth mentoring program.

This grant supports Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training for staff, mentors, and parents—equipping them to recognize early signs of mental health challenges and respond effectively. In 2024, BBBSNEW reported that 84% of Littles maintained or improved low depressive symptoms, and 90% demonstrated stronger emotional regulation skills.

With youth mental health challenges on the rise, this initiative ensures caring adults are prepared to provide empathy, guidance, and access to resources—helping youth build resilience and thrive.

Christopher Sorrells & Aurora BayCare Medical Center EMS Scholarship

We’re also proud to announce the recipient of the Christopher Sorrells & Aurora BayCare Medical Center Emergency Medical Services Scholarship: Payton Marceille.

This scholarship provides $1,000 to Paramedic students at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College or Lakeshore Technical College, supporting those with financial need and a commitment to healthcare.

Through our scholarship programs, BCCF invests in the next generation of healthcare professionals—ensuring our communities have access to skilled, compassionate care.

Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger community.
