Adam Haggerty, DO

Through his extensive clinical experience practicing emergency medicine prior to fellowship, he managed the full spectrum of medical conditions and pain complaints, witnessing daily how these conditions affect patients' function, mobility, and quality of life. This firsthand experience ignited a deep passion for helping patients find lasting relief and inspired him to pursue advanced training in pain medicine. He went on to complete an ACGME-accredited fellowship in interventional pain management, equipping him with a comprehensive toolkit to treat both common and complex pain conditions. 

Dr. Haggerty believes in treating every patient the way he would treat a member of his own family. He takes the time to listen, educate, and have an open, cooperative discussion about all available treatment options — from conservative therapies to advanced interventional and surgical procedures. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, he is committed to shared decision-making, ensuring that every patient understands their condition, feels heard, and plays an active role in shaping a care plan tailored to their goals. He goes out of his way to present every treatment modality that may be beneficial, so patients can make informed, confident choices about their care. 

Dr. Haggerty is proud to practice opioid-free. He is committed to offering patients comprehensive alternatives and advanced technologies that address the root cause of pain rather than masking it with medications. By leveraging the latest minimally invasive procedures and evidence-based therapies, he provides effective, long-term solutions that help patients reclaim function and independence in their lives without the risks and debilitating downstream effects associated with chronic opioid medications. Outside of medicine, Dr Haggerty enjoys spending time outdoors in beautiful northern Wisconsin with his wife and three children. He can be found fishing, hiking, boating and exploring the wonderful natural resources Wisconsin has to offer.
