Joint Replacement Camp
Total Joint Camp: A Required Step Before Joint Replacement Surgery
If you are planning to have a hip or knee replacement, attending a Total Joint Camp is a required part of your care. This class is designed to help you feel prepared, informed, and confident before your surgery.
What Is Total Joint Camp?
Total Joint Camp is a one‑time educational class for patients having a hip or knee replacement. During the class, our care team will walk you through what to expect:
- Before surgery
- During your hospital stay
- After surgery and recovery at home
The goal is to help you heal safely, manage pain, and get back to your daily activities as smoothly as possible.
Why You Need to Attend
Research shows that patients who understand their surgery and recovery plan often have better outcomes and less stress. That’s why all patients having a joint replacement must attend Total Joint Camp before surgery.
You are welcome—and encouraged—to bring a family member or caregiver with you.
